Is it just me?
I've decided to make this topic for all your "is it just me?" wonderings.
Anything you've ever wondered if it was just you, post it here.
I'll begin.
Is it just me or, you know when you're on a bus, you hate people sitting next to you. But sometimes, when on a crowded bus, I kinda want someone to sit next to me, so I'm not thinking something like "Holy crap, how bad must I look if someone sat next to that smelly drunken hobo who got sick on himself instead of sitting next to me"
So am I the only one who thinks like that or does everyone else just hate people sitting next to them fullstop?
So comment on this and post your own "is it just me?" things

Re: Is it just me?
lol! I hate when people sit next to me as well... even when the bus is crowded. People like to block me in when there's like 2 stops til my stop, then instead of standing up to let me go, they just scoot to where there's still barely any room...
Is it just me, or does it suck to have to eat in front of people whom you are only aquinted? I can't stand eating in front of other people... except my parents of course.

Re: Is it just me?
I get a bit nervous when eating in front of people (what little of that happens), just cause I think I have a unique way of eating that others would frown on....
Is it just me, or Do you ever find yourself standing in a conversation with no one paying any attention to you because they are talking about some girly thing, so you just think about, like, you head suddenly exploding or the glass in that door suddenly exploding and it all scattering into you?

Re: Is it just me?
I think Scrubs has gone REALLY down hill. Season 1-2 were AWESOME! Then some bits got worse, others got better. Now from what I've seen of the new scrubs stuff, the only thing going is The Turk 'n' JD bromance. All the new interns, that are gonna be the main characters when basically EVERYONE except Dr Cox leave, SUCK. They've tried to just merge the characters together.... but no, they should just end it like they ended friends...
I do find it funny how Zach Braff was planning on leaving 3 times already, for an actual acting/directing career... so they through a lot of money at him to stay. The reason JD suddenly has a beard and muscles is because Zach Braff wants a career. The episodes without the new interns are fine.
Is it just me, or do you find it that when you're talking you get a bit self concious when it's something a bit long so you quickly try and finish it by talking REALLY quickly, still managing to say everything but no one really cares anymore anyway and when you finish no one says anything in return?

Re: Is it just me?
I hate the new interns too!
And I really couldn't care less about anyone seeing me eat.
I would gladly eat a footlong subway sandwich while pouring sauce all over myself on a crowded street with a few people I'd only known a little while.
The fact is that people eat, and some people eat messily like pigs (I don't like that saying cause pigs are quite clean animals but anyway), I'm one of those and I don't really care
And yes Chris, I do get quite self conscious when I'm saying something really long, especially when people start like whispering over you and you realize what you're saying is of no interest to the other people.
And now for me.
Is it just me or can everyone else step on cracks in the path (Pavement).
It's not just cracks though, it's any kind of partition in the path.
Also, in my mind, when I'm talking to someone, I look at their feet and which direction they're pointing and draw a line on the ground (an imaginary line in my head) that I simply cannot stand on.
That one gets really awkward when I'm in a group 'cause lots of people are moving their feet and it's hard to find a spot that noone's feet are pointing in.
Maybe Sean has noticed this, or anyone I talk to.
A lot of people know about the cracks thing but noone knows about the feet thing.
You guys are the first people I've told.
Oh btw, sorry for the tl;dr >.>

Re: Is it just me?
Lmao whenver I'm walking on some sort of tile I try to not step on cracks, too. Really just a habit from childhood.
Oh, when I was little I used to find a set of 4 square tiles. I'd then spin around making sure I put each of my feet in the squares.

You never said is it just me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Is it just me?
I find that I naturally try and stand on individual tiles or slabs on the floor when walking around (which gets hard when they are small) but because my natural stride is larger than the length of one, more often than not I either suddenly take a small or larger step that feels weird OR I step on the gap and start again.
Is it just me or does everyone else have someone to cheer them up when their down with hugs and stuff, even jokingly, but the second you are, everyone will be caring by asking "are you okay?" and stand there until something else more exciting happens and then leaves.

Re: Is it just me?
So I'm the only one with the feet thing then?
Oh well
It's nice to be unique.
And well, I'm never down!
Well sometimes, but I'm a "man", so I keep it all bottled up inside and tell noone about it and then drown my sorrows in alcohol.
I then abuse my wife and kids and shoot up heroin in the toilets.
Is that just me or is that what everyone does?

Re: Is it just me?
I bottle it all up allowing it to slowly destroy me and the bonds around me. Which is WEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLL fun.
The rest... nah, I'm too manly to get rid of my bottled sorrows....
Is it just me, or do you wake up feeling insignificant?

MANK!
And it's just you, I merely wake up feeling sleepy.
Is it just me, or does anyone else kinda like the smell of wet dog

Re: Is it just me?
I'd say it is you.
Is is just me, or does your father ALSO only say about 100 words to you every half year none of which consist of "Happy Birthday" or something along those lines?

Re: Is it just me?
Umhum most likely.
My dog is uber horribly smelly sometimes >.>
Well I just don't talk to my dad that much anyway.
It's that way a lot of the time with boys and their fathers.
So it's not just you so ha!!
Trying to be all like that!
Mwahahahaha!
Is it just me or can some other people not fly?

I can fly, well, more of falling with style...
Is it just me, or do you too get that sinking feeling when you're neck deep in quicksand.

Is it just me, or is it bad to cry over a 74/100 grade on a test you felt was relatively easy?

Re: Is it just me?
Nah I get a sinking feeling when I'm thrown into a river with concrete shoes on.
Well was the test important or not?
Is it just me or after you've been listening to music for ages, it's a great relief to take out your earphones and are able to hear things?

Re: Is it just me?
Yeah, I do get that too... when wearing my headset, my ears begin to hurt.....
Is it just me, or is standing on the ceiling having a party a bit of a nuisance?

Re: Is it just me?
Sort of, it was one of the 4 or 5 tests we're having total... I kid you not when I say it seemed easy... It was like being on the Pre-calculus level being asked to graph a linear equation... Seriously, I've been through the equivalent of 4 years of chemistry, and this test had BASIC chem stuff... Not sure if I got any of the chem stuff wrong though.
Is it just me, or is it customary to not study for a test the weekend before it just for grins and giggles?

Sort of,
Is it just me or is it normal to not study for tests at all and still do fairly well?

Re: Is it just me?
Nah it's not just you.
I know exactly how that feels
Is it just me or do other people not remember their dreams, like ever?

Re: Is it just me?
I wish I remembered mine =[
Well it's not just you, plenty of people like the sims.
I, for one, think The Sims is mind-numbingly boring.
Is it just me, or when someones looking at the music you listen to, you say something like "Oh god I hate that song", even though it's pretty much your favourite song?

Re: Is it just me?
I sometimes do that. But most of the time the people don't care
Is it just me, or does everybody agree with this whole thread except for the "sims."
