Why does this only happen when you dont care F4

i just didnt care what happened, and now i landed 3 30%'s in a row 
BSCULA got like 2bazillion ppl loveing him for doing this (on a lvl 110 spear, which turned out 7 30/10%-ted +white scrolls)

lol, bsucla did 10% + whitescroll his whole spear BUT he didnt have any money left so he used a 30% on the last slot and it worked
