it sucks. England hardly ever gets any proper days off. St Georges day.... nothing even though it is about the patron saint of England. I heard a rumour about there being one for the battle of trefalger...(?) but no.... ENGLAND SUCKS ARSE

You guys will hate me after i tell you how many days we get off/ get released early... (not including hurricane days)
This is for my school, i don't know about the other schools

4 holidays
4 days off
6 employee/teacher work days
10 days for winter break
5 days for spring break
8 "professional study" days (teachers go to seminars & stuff) school from 7:30- 11:30
6 regular early release days (7:30-12:40)


We have school on the regular days off if we have excessive hurricane days.

lol 2 years ago, we had 3 weeks off because it took that long to get the power back on for everyone after Wilma.

dang it! i wish england would be hit by a hurricane... even though that most are LARGER than all of the UK but just think of the damage.... not much. Because our houses are made of bricks not wood and dry wall...

brick are good, but I wouldn't recommend them for anything over a 2 or 3.

Florida houses/buildings are made of cinderblock and concrete.
