Apparently South-East Asia was the first place to have tea!

It spread from there, so I'd say England was one of the later places.

Anyway, Ireland still has the best tea, and America has shit tea.

Potatoes are the storage part of the potato plant. Where Starch is stored... which COULD be why it is full of starch... but... well *shrugs* that to do with McD? Sure Sean said something about people living off of potatoes or what... but.... Starch.... isn't/shouldn't be the main nutrient you have....

Ya see, over this side o' the pond, all cider is alcoholic, cause we're a bunch of booze-hounds Very Happy

We even have an alcoholic beverage made from potatoes.

Potato drink is called potín (putcheen) and its normally around 80% alcohol some people say it tastes like paint stripper but if you know how to drink it its really tasty

Vodka can be made from many things, including potatoes.

But I'm assuming poteen or potín (putcheen) was made because of the vast amount of potatoes we have over here Razz
