I can read japanese symbols =D, no idea what the fuck any of them mean but i can recognise them, I even wrote myself out a table. Not kanji though.... that shit is crazy

Yeah, I can read most hiragana (only a few katakana TT.TT) but they don't make sense when they are in words.

Like if the (leader of japan?) said hello to me and I said the same back I would be shot dead straight away without hesitation and then mutilated and then eaten and then the video would be put up on some weird japanese site that would make millions.

I think I only know the symbol (kanji?) For Happiness... and that is only from playing Okami... no wait, It is for Earth... I also know Darkness, I think I know water, not sure of fire though, I believe water and fire look fairly similar. OH! I think I also know God... or something like that... most/all of these are from Okami... and the instruction book...

大 is what I was thought as god... and the others (fire and water) i did somewhat know... I know Earth is a sort of upside down T with a slightly smaller line Perpendicularly bisecting the long verticle.

I doubt they can learn how just read a picture by listening to their parents say it o_0 And I though that most japanese people dont learn all of the kanji maybe someone mentioned it earlier here but in games like pokemon there are no kanji except for money
