I'm counting the maths and AP as one class cause you don't do them at the same time :O

GCSEs were where we were forced to do some crap...
We HAD to do Maths, English, Science, a Design Tech (so Food, Resistant materials or Textiles) and a language out of French or German, then we got to pick 3 others....

There's not too much difference between our junior cert (equivalent of your GCSEs) and our leaving cert (equivalent of your A levels). The only difference is the subjects. You don't even necessarily have to do less subjects. And some are still compulsory!
