Neeeeeeews
I'm back and with some news
Some bad, some good.
Bad first, me and my gf kinda broke up a little bit, we're on a break atm and not sure if we're getting back together. Probably not with the way I'm feeling about it. That is that I'm taking it very well.
And the good news!!!
I got a job
In MackyDees!
It could mean that I'll get enough money and travel to England and see all the people I have to!
I won't be travelling to America though, too expensive, sorry guy and gal.

Yes, cause everyone knows how easy it is to get a job nowadays, especially as a 17 year old with no experience.....
And it's not so bad, pay is okay, I only work weekends, pretty easy.
And with the now ex-gf, I dunno, just seemed to have run it's course.
Re: Neeeeeeews
Awww, that sucks....
At least it is working weekends... so the air doesn't clog your heart TOO much... Are you like Bernard Black in Black Books when he is working in that fast food shop... so when someone asks for some fries you go, "How many?!"

Re: Neeeeeeews
Nearly everything is cooked.
And things are put together after they're cooked.
So buns are toasted, burgers are cooked and so on.
When the buns have been toasted the toppings are added then the meat is put on.
Then it is put in a box and sent to the person who ordered it.
We have to wear a glove to handle the frozen meat.
A lot more is actually put into it than people think.
So if I'm the person cooking a burger, that does make me a cook.
Just not a very talented one!

Re: Neeeeeeews
Yes well of course! How the hell do you think burgers have sugar in them from McD's../.

Re: Neeeeeeews
... machine? You know, the machine that processed the actual burger part? He isn't ACTUALLY making the burger part... like getting the mince and mushing it up... they have machines for it...
And Kev even gets to put stuff under heat lamps!

Re: Neeeeeeews
In most McD's they have the burgers that are packaged in the paper of different colours just out, like just behind the till... so you say, "I'll have a cheeseburger" they turn round, pick up a thing with a red design on... then BAM it is still warm because it is under either a heat lamp (I think that is mostly the chips/fries) or the thing they are kept on is heated... otherwise it wouldn't be fast food... this may have changed seeing as I haven't been in a McD and actually paid attention to my surroundings in a LONG time...
Re: Neeeeeeews
Everything is frozen and cold before it's cooked
I've seen no heat lamps.
But I dunno.
All I've cooked is Big Macs and hamburgers and double cheeseburgers.

Re: Neeeeeeews
Well it's not beef I'll tell ya that much!!
Lol only messing
I believe they actually ask a cow nicely to lend some spare meat and no cows are killed in the making of the burgers because the meat was a gift and was not taken.

Re: Neeeeeeews
It's a disgrace to call it meat. Meat is juicy and tender. Not their meat, lol.

Re: Neeeeeeews
Lol true, but then again, you mustn't eat much meat if you think all meat is juicy and tender.
Re: Neeeeeeews
Just try whenever my mum cooks pork... eating some wood would be more tasteful... it is like eating leather... REALLY REALLY dry leather....
Re: Neeeeeeews
Ahh pork is always dry like that.... But that was just an example of true meat.

You're saying pork isn't a true meat?
