Lack of playing.

I'm sorry I haven't been on Maple recently, I'm now hitting the exam period and hard (first one tomorrow, last one some time in June... 9th...) then, that isn't the only reason.
The other reason is that I have become enraged at Maplestory. My Evan is a character I was playing on for some time, to get it high enough to fill some family spots. HOWEVER, Maplestory decided to FUCK UP and stop me from playing. No no, I haven't been banned, according to maple a pass has been made on my account and an activation link has been sent to my email.
OH GUESS what, I can't even remember the password for the email, I'm not even sure the email exists anymore, the passwords I used at the time don't work.... all variations of them -.- I did the thing with maplestory where you say "I can't get to my email anymore, please change it to this one." Although, they say it takes a week, one week later... FUCK ALL! Then again, I sent another one mid-week... because I'm not sure if I did it properly....
The MOST annoying thing was how I'd sent a maple shield, of the mage variety to that account via Package delivery system, this was possibly a week before last... Which as we all know, deletes all items he's holding after they've been in there for 30 days! I can see the account being lost for EVER and me losing my shield and becoming VERY angry at maple.
The weird thing is... I can type in my details on the website, it takes me to the thing saying something like, "A MAN HAS MADE A PASS AT YOUR ACCOUNT AND FELT FLATTERED!!!!!!! WARNING NOTHING HAPPENED BUT WE'RE GOING TO FUCK EVERYTHING UP ANYWAY!" but if I just type in the maplestory website again, I'm logged in...
I can look at the account, but I can't change any account info. When I try to start the game, it loads... but weirdly has me at the old login screen, so when I type in my password it goes "Try logging in at the Nexon Website!"
I hate maplestory and it's customer service, I'm being ignored..... *smashes face into screen*

Wow that stinks. I really hope you're able to get that shield in time. Sad

I remember not playing for like only a week or two and I had to go through the whole process of reactivating my account. What does Nexon expect to gain from this? I don't see any safety issues involved, unless a hacker got tired of messing around with an account and let it "expire." I guess this is to prevent phony or multiple accounts?

This is really hurting the innocent more than doing any sort of good. But I don't see Nexon changing this any time soon (or ever), because they never do.

Wow dude, That sucks. I have the same problem with my secondary account. It didn´t have any valuable stuff except an 8 att WG and a Seclusion Wristguard. Nexon deactivated my account... Evil or Very Mad

And now I have to reactivate it, but I didn´t create that account, so I have no idea what the account information is. But I have a friend who is good at hacking etc. So I hope he can hack that e-mail.

And yes, Nexon customer service sucks. I've send 8 days ago an e-mail to them, no reply... Mad

As much as I love MapleStory, I'll have to agree that sometimes Nexon can be very greedy. I mean, there's no excuse for making Evan characters buy mastery books in the cash shop, especially for magic guard! Neutral

I'm pretty sure I've played a game that let you keep cash shop (or whatever it was called) items if you payed a little extra. I've always hated the 90 days thing. It would be so much more fun if it were all permanent. They would still make enough off 2x and usable items, and now they even have ads on the website.

I bet they make so much money though! Why would they be this way? Mad

Hmmm, I don't think they'll be THAT expensive, if the job advancements are like every other normal job, I imagine it will be fairly cheap. However, if maplestory got a lot of money from the multi job tier Evan's stuff, then they may go a bit CRAZY!

However, the jobs do look quite cool! I will hopefully have two accounts by the time these come out (I imagine they'll give us one slot)
Nice! However, we still need that other job... the Dual Blades, so I imagine, if they give us the Dual Blades in Summer, we may get these Resistance things Winter, or we'll get Dual Blades winter and Resistance next summer...

Progress is still at an all time 0. I sent ANOTHER thing asking for email change, even mentioning how I've done it twice already where it had been over a week and just a week for them, commenting on 2-7 days is a LIE!
I don't think I'm going to get it back in time for my maple shield, which is ANNOYING... because I finally got something half decent and maplestory decide it would be fun to SCREW it all up...
It just makes me feel like their emails are instantly directed to the recycling bin....

If you don´t know the if the e-mail exist anymore, you could try to make a new e-mail with the same adress. If it doesn't work, it should still exist.

And have you tried the: 'I forgot my password'- option?

Oh yeah, some Email accounts let you connect another Email so that you can retrieve your password in case you forgot. Gmail supports that. Do you think you can do that? Although, I bet you've tried everything already. Neutral

Was the maple mage shield scrolled like godly or just clean?
(Yeah. I know even the clean is expensive, but still...)

You can always replace that by buying another with maple leaves if it was clean.
If not, I'm real sorry man. Too bad Nexon doesn't give compensation for stuff like this. Sad

I've looked into it, the stuff for getting the password back on hotmail is CRAZY. I don't have another email onto it, so it can send the email... to the email I can't get in... then I think the other one is SO crazy, I just can't remember all the stuff I need for it...

Wow, talk about a "it couldn't possibly get any worse" situation (besides actually losing the shield, that is). If the shield wasn't scrolled, then it's entirely replaceable.

Perhaps we should start a Support Mozillo Fund (aka Save the People Screwed Over by Nexon Foundation for a Better MS) to help you get it back if it does turn out to be gone forever. Sad

Maybe I could pitch in a few hundred leaves. Very Happy

I use to write down my account info for stuff on paper. Perhaps when you finally find this stuff out you could do that? Although sometimes it isn't safe to leave that kind of stuff sitting around. (That's why I stopped doing that. Another reason was laziness.)

I think the shield is defo gone... and there is little hope for me getting another shield before like... next week or something.... I hate Nexon... unfortunately if I want to complain... I just have to SEND IN another note... which will just get the same response..... being ignored....
