Re: Looking for an emotional night in?
Just a lot of clothes I guess... Most of it is my parents though, cuz I hate shopping, and most of my clothes don't fit right, so I end up wearing the same clothing week by week. We do donate our clothes though, so it isn't much of a big deal.
And the reason why there's so much at one time is cuz I'm like the ONLY one in the house that seems to have the ability to do it, cuz mom won't except when she decides I'm too slow. I refuse to do laundry during the week, and the dryer needs to run twice to dry things. That's also how she finishes so many loads at a time, because she just takes the stuff out and finds places for them to sit out and air dry.

Re: Looking for an emotional night in?
Wouldn't it be easy to dry things outside in the hot florida sun?
Over here it can be risky to put clothes out to dry because, not only would it take ages due to lack of sun, but theres the risk of very cold wet rain too.

Yeah, Kev has a point. In the somewhat uninhabitable heat of Florida (and that was in the North of Florida, you're in the south of it, where it is hotter) it'd be cheaper to invest in a clothes line... Maybe your mum is saving the planet? Bit by bit?
Re: Looking for an emotional night in?
I keep a hill of termites in my back garden, in the hope of causing global warming and heating up Ireland.
Re: Looking for an emotional night in?
I never turn my laptop off for more than 3 seconds
As well as never turning things off at the plug
I do keep things off standby whenever possible
Recently my DS has been on 24/7.... but closed...
However, I never have my lights on....
So I'm hoping that not having any lights on.... brings me back from the above junk.... hopefully

Oh most definitely!
Keeping your text in the centre has the same effect aswell, thereby actually making your carbon footprint negative!

We can't hang our laundry outside. It rains unpredictably here, and anything that isn't nailed to the ground (and even stuff that is) gets stolen. Shirts with holes in them don't look very nice.

o.O lol
It can be a calm cloudless day, start pouring cats and dogs, then go back to solitude and cloudlessness in about 10 mins. Not much that 24 hour coverage can help with, since by the time they tell us about it, it's been there and gone.

forecast: to predict (a future condition or occurrence); calculate in advance.
Like I said, can't really FOREcast a short shower when it pops up suddenly and goes away just as fast.

Move house?
Another emotional thing to see, in my opinion, was the movie AI... well, it was sadder when my brother was telling me about it... the actual film didn't make me as sad... but yeah...

Yeah we spent two weeks in florida, this happened all the time... it was like 37 degrees then suddenly thunder lightning and fucking pellets shooting from the sky... then sunny again

Yeah, Florida is like that all the time... When I was their it rained at random times. Reminds me of Adventure Island, or whatever that water park was. It rained on and off :]
Did anyone hear about the S.E.C. jerking off 8 hours a day?

S,E,C?
And that's a lot of... that... a day....
When I went to America it rarely rained... I think it rained like once or twice.... One of the times was sudden in the middle of the day so all the rides in Bush Gardens weren't running for a small bit of time... but we had to wait a bit...
Then the next time was just like... in the evening... All the other times it was so hot... it felt like death... (all in Florida)

Re: Looking for an emotional night in?
When I was in Florida someone got hit by lightning near our hotel!
Re: Looking for an emotional night in?
I first read that as "I got hit by Lightning" in which I would've suggested some paracetemoxyfrusebendroneomycin... but seeing as you weren't.... that was lucky of you!
