Another anime topic

Having recently finished samurai champloo, that now sits in the top two of my all time favorite anime list, I was wondering if anyone else had suggestions!

I've watched large chunks of most shonen stuff over the years, and was looking for something different!

Any anime fans with suggestions?

Bleach FL!

Well, for short series:
Disgaea has about 12-15 episodes and it is pretty funny and has some real sad moments.
Elemental Gelade has about 25 episodes... and to be honest... I FUCKING LOVED IT! The comedy is pretty awesome in it but doesn't over do it... The story is pretty good... and there is lots of sexual tension... as you long as you don't mind a bit OTT weapons... but I like it... LOADS.

Really, Bleach is there if you want a grown up Naruto... but there is bloody loads of it...
I'd still suggest Fullmetal Alchemist, It isn't Shonen Jump... And also, it is my fave anime EVER. It has a pretty good story. The evil people aren't evil... just because... it is pretty dark round about half way through. And it isn't TOO "anime" meaning it isn't really OTT that it isn't giant robots or giant magical swords cleaving the world in half despite being about 3-4 ft long...
You already have One Piece... so that's gone...
Death Note is okay, it gets pretty shit at one point, which if you watch, willl be obvious... but it is also a bit freaky....
Then those are really all the things that come to mind that I've seen that are pretty decent...
